Julian Schnabel, Rose Painting (Near Van Gogh’s Grave)

I appreciate the use of ready made products and mixing it with paint to make the texture of something to look so real. The artist clearly had Van Gogh's Grave in mind while creating this. I appreciate the use of color, and the use of black coloring between the plates to create dimension. I kind of want to do something like this for my 3rd piece of my midterm.
