All New Women

These pieces are so simple in color but the shadowing is so necessary and perfectly placed and colored. To find where a shadow would be based on a hypothetical light source on a figure that is unrealistically modeled after the realistic world is difficult but accomplished very well in these pieces. I love the subject matter as well. The new woman is active and her body is realistic and her hair is not "just so" its in the wind and it has body of its own.
