Park Guell (1900-1914) was designed by Antoni Gaudi and Josep Maria Jujol. The columns consists of ceramic tile and is covered in vines. This leads into a grand staircase and a fountain that has a face of a dragon and a striped Catalan flag. The colorful tilework shows the nature of the Catalan Art Nouveau by involving different types of media and the earth growing on its own. I thought this was beautiful entrance way into the park.
